We are excited to welcome Jill Katsaros to our team! With over 25 years of experience in education, Jill began her career in journalism before discovering her passion for teaching while tutoring elementary and middle school students during college. She later transitioned into teaching part-time, focusing on English Language Arts and physical education at Suttons Bay Middle/High School.
After moving to Three Rivers and taking time off to raise her daughter, Taylor, Jill began teaching adult education in the evenings. Following the birth of her son, she transitioned to teaching adult education full-time during the day. It was during this time, while teaching a class called "Reading for Adults," that Jill developed a strong interest in literacy, eventually leading her to specialize in special education.
Jill has always enjoyed helping individuals of all ages improve their reading skills and shared, “Helping my students in special education improve their skills has always felt like the right path for me.”
We are thrilled to have Jill on board and are confident that her passion and expertise will make a lasting impact on our students!
